K&K's 2nd Birthday Part 1!

On Thursday, September 30th, Kaden and Kaleiah turned TWO!!!

Daddy took the day off so we could spend the whole day as a family and celebrate our two amazing babies! We woke up and headed straight to Disneyland! We had planned on seeing the new show, World of Color, but it was sold out half and hour after the park opened (we got there 45 min after it opened)!! Such a bummer!!! But we of course had a great time as always. Recently the twins have become huge fans of the movie Cars and love Tow Mater and Lightening McQueen. It's sooo cute! They are in the process if building a Cars ride in California Adventure and have a huge Mater and Lightening out! We couldn't wait to take them to see, especially Kaden because he loves cars in general! They loved seeing them. After that we went to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse live on stage which they absolutely loved. They watch that every single morning and it must have been so weird for them to see them "live" :) After Disneyland we headed home for naps and were not sure what we were going to do later since our World of Color plans got foiled.

Right before they woke up from naps, I had an idea...a beach bon fire!! And it would be their first one!! So we called our families and most of them were able to come, even on such short notice. We roasted hot dogs and smores, the babies had soooo much fun just being at the beach for hours. And it was so neat to have our families there, including my Aunt who is out visiting from Iowa. It was such a fun night, great memories made and such a fun way to celebrate K&K.

I made these cookies. I cut the shapes and dyed the frosting. They were yummy and just so cute!
