Family Friday

We gravitate to Laguna Beach anytime the weather is nice and so today that's where we ended up :) It's a 10 min drive from home and that's a good thing bc it's one of my favorite places to be! We had a wonderful day.

These were taken a year ago to the day. They were a few days shy of 7 months! I love their sweet, innocent faces and chubby goodness. So stinkin adorable!

I'm still reminded daily that God hears prayers and that He is good. I have two babies to love on, laugh with and be loved by...at once. So amazing!!

These necklaces are adorable and beautiful and soooo fitting, as I have called the twins "two peas in a pod" since I was 9 weeks pregnant.

I especially love the one with the children's names!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday spent at Disneyland!

It's no secret that we love Disneyland and go whenever possible. Randy has been working so much since baseball season started (since his second Job is with Angels Stadium), so we haven't been in nearly 3 months!!!

Today the weather was gorgeous, a little on the hot side though. The babies completely skipped their afternoon nap but as always, were so good and just had a ball. The nice thing about all of that is they were both out cold by 8pm.

let them play!

Yesterday we were walking around the Spectrum (our favorite) and window shopping. We came up the fountains that the twins have always loved. We have stopped by those and let them watch it since they were just little babies but have waited to let them play in it. We keep saying this summer we would take them there in their little swim suits and have a ball!
Well, there we were walking by (the babies we not in their stroller rather walking freely) and their eyes got as big as saucers. We just knew we had to carpe diem (seize the day) and let them play!
They were fully clothed but that made it all the more fun. The grins, their excitement and the thrill they got as they got soaked...it was priceless! It was yet just another time where we absolutely lived in the moment and enjoyed our time together to the fullest. That's our goal, everyday.
Life is short and tomorrow is never promised so we live each day soaking up all the little moments that make such big memories. We cherish each day and love making fun adventures out of ordinary times.

Family Friday at the Flower Feilds

Today we made a short drive down to Carlsbad to the beautiful flower fields. So many pretty flowers, so many photo ops. Such a beautiful day, spent entirely together. I always look forward to Fridays, it is our one day we set aside and spend quality time as a family, just us. I love it!
