Fall is here!

I have been talking and dreaming about Fall since June, no lie. Pumpkin spice lattes, scarves and boots, sweaters, crisp weather (not sure that will ever happen though), pumpkin patches and our special family traditions. By July I was packing away my summer clothes and wearing scarves, pretending it was already Fall. By Sep. 1, I started busting out the Fall decor for the house. It seemed like summer would never end. I can't believe Fall is officially here...I am one happy lady!!! We have been to 2 patches in 4 days, in just the first week of Oct. I was practically giddy at the first one :) We have so many traditions and I love that the Holidays are just around the corner. We have a couple more patches that we visit every year and I can't wait! I love Fall!!

Disneyland days

We were blocked all summer, from middle of june until end of August. When we went back after our passes were unblocked, we realized that the peas were 40" which meant they could ride a handful of new rides like splash mountain and thunder mountain! Rewind to June and when the peas got measured for the new Cars ride, Kaleiah was fine but Kaden was literally a hair too short (like 1/4 inch). So for the first few times we rode 40" rides, like Soarin over California, we brought his tallest shoes, his crock rain-boots and they worked like a charm! They were beyond excited for a new ride and for "big kid rides" :) The first few times for thunder and splash, we also had buddy wear his boots just to make sure. Then one day I took them by myself (as I often do) and I forgot the boots in the car. I decided to take them anyway and when they had to stand to measure up Kaden was tall enough in just his sandals ! He was soooo proud and excited! So in less than 2 months, he grew to be tall enough! So rad.They were so proud to be tall enough (even if Kaden had a little help) :) Soarin has always been of one of the hubby's and my favorite rides so to be able to ride it with our kids now was beyond awesome! And boy did they love it!!! We ride it all the time now!

Seems like all we ride now is the mountains! And I really love that I can take them on it by myself. It's sooooooo fun!! I can't believe they are riding such adult rides. Splash mountain is my all time fav and it's really crazy and special that I now ride it with my little ones!

new glasses

This post is way over due. Kaleiah finally got some new glasses in July (can only get new frames every 2 years) and she picked them out herself. She picked tortoise shell and purple with crowns :) I still die seeing them on her! So cute!
