So true..............when you kids were all little, you always think to yourself, I'll be glad when they sleep through the night, I'll be glad when they can eat our food, I'll be glad when they are potty trained, I'll be glad when they start kindergaten, I'll be glad when they are finally in school all day so I can go back to work, clean the house, have time to myself, etc etc etc. But then all of a sudden in the blink of an eye, they are graduating HS, college, getting married, starting a family. And you wish you had those days back!! You look back and reflect, those were the best days of my life!! And I do miss those days.........glad you are soaking up each and every second with them! <3 You! Mom
Awwwww. Soooo true. Thankful that I have had the mind set since the moment they were born to live in the moment and don't ever be too anxious for the future. That song and the on by Darius Rucker were/are our theme songs with K&K and they always remind me that you really will miss every phase. I relish in every little phase, and don;t sweat the small stuff. I don't care if Kaden still sleeps with us bc "it won't be like this for long." Loving it while it lasts. Loving EVERYTHING while it lasts!!!! <3
