My motto since becoming a Mommy has been "live life to the fullest!" I have tried everyday since you were born, to live in the moment and be ever so present with you. It's really made this a magical ride.
Everyday with you is new and fresh and a blessing! I soak up every little moment, even the ordinary ones, and try to capture as many as I can. I love living in the moment with you!
Kaden, I loooove your hair! You know, it took me 25 years to embrace my hair color which goes from strawberry blonde in the summer to auburn in the winter but I cherish it finally. Your great Grandma (my Nanny) had red hair and passed it on to me (and Aunt Molly) and now you. Growing up I hated it and I loathed the idea of having a child with it. But I must tell you, I think it is the sweetest color on your little head and I love that we share this gift form Nanny :) I couldn't imagine you with any other color. And I just love the sweet, soft, fluffy, fine, uneven baby hair. I love how long it's getting and NO...I have zero plans of cutting it any time soon :)
Kaleiah, I love having a girl...thank you for always putting up with me dressing you like little doll of my own. You are SO FUN to shop for and dress and I love all the frills, flowers and bows that come with having a girl :) I love you princess!
I think this about so many ofthe pics Ive taken but this one is one of my most VERY favorite of all time! So sweet, you can just feel the love between the two of you! You really are little best friends. And I love the little rainbow that appeared in the shot.
I love this face you make baby girl, when you are proud of happy about doing something :)
I love that you love to give kisses. It melts my heart. I know one day you will no longer do this willingly so I eat it up!

28!
On the 18th I turned 28. 27 was another fabulous year and I can't wait to see what 28 has in store!
I celebrated for 4 days this year, I have never done anything like that before, it was fun and as a Mommy of twins I think I deserved it :)
It started off with an hour long Swedish message with my sister (in case you didn't know, I am an identical twin!) :) Unfortunately I didn't get a pic of us at the massage.
The following day my Dad who I am very close with, took me on a beautiful motorcycle ride to Romona, CA where we had breakfast at a place he and my brother (riding buddies) frequent and it was even on Diner, Drive Ins and Dives. It was so good! I have always loved riding with my Dad so it made my birthday extra special :)
We made it home in time for me to go get the twins down for naps and then when they woke up we headed over to my parents to have a birthday bbq my mom organized, with all our fam! Dinner was delicious and it was great to have everyone there (minus my brother Trev, his wife and daughters :( ) It's a blessing to have so much family close by, even if we are all crazy at times and don't always get along :) After dinner we opened cards and had cake! It was a great night and I felt special!
Monday night was girls night which consisted of myself, my sis, our Mom and our Grandma! We went to a fondue place which I had never been to but have always wanted to try! It was delicious!! They had 100 martins to choose from and it was just so fun to read all the different kinds! My Grandma had Georgia Peach, my Mom had blue island breeze, my sis had
sugar cookie and I had skittles :) It was a special occasion and it was fun celebrating my sis and I!
Tuesday was my actual b-day and I woke up to my two favorite little people singing me happy birthday! I melted. As I got ready, I found 2 handmade cards from my cuties (which I will save forever!) and one amazingly sweet one from my husband <3
Then my handsome man took me to breakfast at my fav place (for breakfast food) in my fav city! We dropped the tots off and enjoyed a nice breakfast ad stroll around the cute town. It was such a beautiful day and a perfect birthday morning!
And to to end the days and days of celebrating we went to dinner with my in-laws to one of my fav places- PF Changs! Good food, good company and a great end to a great birthday! I am blessed, for sure.

just because :)
Took a few pics of my loves today while they played :)
This picture makes me laugh bc this is a picture she directed me to take. I had just taken one of her as she was standing against the wall (you'll see below) and then after that she told me to take another one, posed herself and shot me this smile. After I snapped the pic she said "Great!" and ran off. I LOVE her!! :) Not only does she follow direction but she gives it! She a natural, and she's only 2! :) That reminds me, I need to mail out their photo's to agencies this week!

Hooray!!!
As I have mentioned in previous posts (bc this blog acts as their baby books), our sweet son has slept in out bed w/ us for some time now (17 months to be exact). The time really has flown by, I can not even believe how long it's been. Anywho, we really don't mind it, most times we just love it. Something just so precious about having your baby next to you all night. Now, if we had both babies next to us all night, it wouldn't have been so precious, it would have just been cramped :) I know some people think we're crazy to let a baby sleep in our bed but my opinion on their opinions has always been A) It's clearly what worked for all 4 of us so that's why we went w/ it and B) It's not ones business to add their 2 cents in. With that said, even though it kept all 4 of us actually sleping, and WELL i might add, for the past 17 months, we always knew we wanted to get Kaden going back to bed in his cirb. Well, the times has come (fingers crossed).
We started trying to get him back in his cribs w/ naps which I talked about in this post ----> sleeping arrangements
Well last night we tried with bed time and it didn't work :( (We tried a few times in the past few months but not as gung-ho as lat night). We talked off and on for the hour leading upt to bed time about how he was going to go ni-night in his crib just like he does for naps, that sissy would be there too and he was going to be a big boy! He was enthusiastic and all for it...until bed time that is :) He didn't freak out or cry but he did whine a little. We just kept explaining things to him and eventually we were able to leave the room. The next 35 min consisted of them jumping up and down in their cribs while laughing and talking! Cute, yes but also frustrating! We were tired and just ready for them to go to sleep. We took turns going in and after 1 min they'd be at it again. It was pushing 10:00 (way too late for bed time) so we separated them and Kaden went to sleep in our room. Tonight we tried again and it was perfection!!! We did nothing different, except maaaaybe promise him a milk shake tomorrow :) They both went right to bed, not fighting it in the least and no talking or playing or anything of the sort! It was unreal! We both got a little pouty when we realized this is most likely the start of a new phase. I am suuuper sentimental and will with out a doubt miss him in our bed! But, he's 2 so it's a good time to transition. We'll see how the rest of the night goes and the nights to come :) So proud of my lil bubba right now :)
I don;t have any pictures of them sleeping tonight to add to this post bc hey, I would be crazy to try and take a picture and risk waking them! But here are a few cute ones from this week (all cell phone pics which is rare of me!) :)
