Disneyland, twice in one day :)

After this month we are blocked until September which is always a bummer. But at the same time, July and Aug are THE most crowded months, not to mention super hot which kind of makes it unenjoyable. We are going to go as much as we can this month bc we know the twins will miss it (not sure who will miss it more though, them or us) :)! Thursday was a much needed family day as my hard working husband has been very busy (being a Pastor means he doesn't always get to leave work at work and always has things going on) and he is still working 2 jobs (which we are thankful for). We felt like we had not had a good, solid full day of family time in a while so he was so awesome and took a personal day for us. Family time is so important to us!
We woke up and headed to the Magic Kingdom (specifically, California Adventure) with the goal of going on the brand new Little Mermaid ride. We had been telling K&K about it since the day before we went. To our MAJOR disappointment it was closed. It was open the day BEFORE (for a soft opening) and would open the day AFTER as the grand opening. We didn't tell the twins we couldn't ride it, instead we walked away and went on a ride we had never been on before in hopes they wouldn't remember about Arial. It worked :) It helped that the ride was a Little Mermaid themed carousel! It was a beautiful, brightly colored and they loved it!
Then we proceeded to ride 2 more rides that were a "first" for them and then 2 others that we like. Going on a Thursday AM really made for us to be able to ride a lot more than we usually get to and that was great! We let to head home for naps but they fell asleep as soon started driving, they were worn out! After they woke up we headed to church to watch our good friend get licensed as a Pastor and then headed back for more DLand fun! This time we went to the regular park wehere we rode their favorites: teacups, buzz light year and we also rode the jungle cruise! The last (and only) other time we rode it Kaden cried. But they loved it this time! All in all it was a super fun day and we LOVE living so close, having passes to and being able to go to Disneyland so much!

*I don't have any pictures from the 2nd round, just the 1st :)

gosh i cant imagine. i bet, being a pastor, his work gets taken home a lot. when people are in trouble, who do they call/want to see/talk to/email/etc? their pastor, for sure.

what a good man to recognize you needed family time and to do something about it. you guys are very blessed!!
