We headed home and they both fell asleep in the car so we decided to just take a drive. We ended up going to Little Italy in downtown San Diego for a slice of pizza. It was totally unplanned and spontaneous and we loved that! We thought those days were gone forever (or at least a while) once we had kids. No more just picking up and going somewhere at the drop of a hat. But we did and it was so.much.fun. It was special as well bc we were reminded of our first family get-a-way back in July when we stayed in San Diego for a few days and ate there.
We walked around for a little and were still home in time for baths and bed time. It was a fantastic day!

I just found your blog :) I have twin boys, so I love reading other twin mom blogs! Your pictures are absolutely beautiful. SD is a city I fell in love with when I was 20. My family lives in Encinitas so I was out on the west coast for a visit and just fell in love. It's beautiful!
