Kaden's first tooth

I just realized I never posted abut Kaden's first tooth. It came in during the first week of Aug, he had just turned 10 mo! It's almost all the way in, he is also getting the other bottom one too! I need to put a more recent pic.

BIRTHDAY!

I can hardly believe I am ALREADY planning the babies FIRST BIRTHDAY!
I am beyond excited about the theme, I can hardly stand it! Man, oh man, is it going to be ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Snacks!

Kaleiah has been eating snacks for about a month or so and LOVES them. Her fav are the star puffs in sweet potato flavor. She likes those, yogurt melts, Gerber apples, carrots and chicken dogs, bananas and avocados. She also likes bread and rice!
Kaden does not like any of the above except he will munch on bits of bread (rolls) if we are out to eat. He hates the puffed stars and pretty much any other finger food I've tried to give him! He either refuses to open his mouth, or gags. We assume he just isn't quite ready which is fine! Well I picked up some "lil crunchies" from Gerber that are like Cheetos but healthy for babies. Kaden loves them! YAY! Finally a snack HE can enjoy! I'm so excited for him :)

Yay for mixed babies!

These are some of our good friends. It was so funny when someone pointed out "every white person has an Asian counterpart." Yes, and we all made cute hapa babies :)

San Diego

For our 4th anniversary on July 23rd, we went on a mini vacation to San Diego. It was also the babies first trip! I was so happy with how well they did, sleeping in a hotel and being out and about ALL day. We had so much fun being somewhere different and feeling like we were on vacation time. The babies clearly loved the the change in scenery and change of pace. It was memories we'll cherish forever. Can't wait for our next trip!

On Sunday, Randy and I went to church up at the Lake Forest Campus and it was Kaden and Kaleiah's first time. I have missed out on going to church this year just due to the babies' schedule etc. So I was excited to go and to go up to the main campus because it meant seeing a lot of friends that we don't see regularly. I also have a lot of fond memories from there. The babies did amazing during service and afterwards we hung out with some of our friends! Can't wait to go again!
